Tarsha Kelley
was born on August 19, 1973 in Durham, NC. She is a servant/minister at United
for Christ Church, Inc. Her ministry first begins at home as the wife of Kai Kelley Sr. and the mother of their two sons,
Kai Jr. and Jordan. She was educated in the Durham Public School System and she received her B.B.A. from North Carolina Central
University in 1996.
At her house
of worship, Minister Kelley serves as the shepherd of the dance ministry. She has been dancing for God more than 12 years,
though she has danced most of her life. Through her middle and high school years she belonged to a dance group, she was also
hand selected to dance in plays. For three years of her high school career she
served in her school’s marching band, which taught her discipline as she mastered many techniques on twirling a flag.
High school was not all work and no play though; she can remember going to parties and dancing until she was completely exhausted.

During the early 1990's she gave her life to Christ and
stopped dancing but she never lost her love for dance. Some years has passed,
then one day while she was at church, she received prayer and the Lord spoke through her Pastor and said, "You will dance
like you use to dance!" She thought God meant a shout, because at that time she
wasn't doing that either. Some weeks later she was asked to dance with the first
dance ministry (Praise in Motion) at United for Christ Church to "Welcome" by Gary Oliver.
When that blessed event took place, her love for dance was renewed and her dance partner and life was forever changed. In 1996 Minister Kelley became the leader of the dance ministry which is now called
United for HIS Glory Dance & Mime Ministry. It consists of about 25 members both adults and children.

God has empowered Minister Kelley with the tools to help other dancers understand
what it means to dance with God and to impart to them what He has given her. In 2004 Minister Kelley held the
first annual Taking the Arts for Christ Conference. From the beginning in 2004 to the 2nd Annual Taking the Arts for Christ
Conference God had multiplied the participation, by more than 10 times. At these conferences she has taught hundreds of men,
women and children about the art of praise and worship through dance and mime. The conference reached thousands as each participating
body took the gained knowledge back to their place of worship.
Minister Kelley
is extremely passionate about dancing in excellence; this is why she has given a great deal of her time ministering at many
different workshops and conferences. In addition, she has a dance school titled For HIS Glory Dance School. It is a place where the young and old can come and learn about the arts and how Christ can use them to
be a witness of His redemptive power and love! At For HIS Glory Dance School
she is "Teaching the Arts for Christ". And her ministry scripture is Psalm 115:1, “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to your name give Glory, because of your mercy, because of your truth.”
